Paige and Brian met, three years before he proposed, at a mutual friends birthday party. The two quickly noticed each other and wanted to know more each other. They began dating, and the rest was history! The two loved travelling together, so Brian decided to propose to Paige on a trip to Banff and Lake Louise, Alberta in March 2013. On the final day of the trip, Brian convinced Paige to take a walk along the frozen Lake Louise. While on the walk, Paige turned around to take a picture of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, and when she turned back, Brian was down on one knee with the ring. She, of course, said yes!
Some of the couple’s favourite wedding moments were the quieter moments the two were able to share time together. “Hearing from Brian that the song we chose for our first dance was perfect, and the other words of love we had the chance to share during our first dance are what we really took away from the day,” says Paige. “Knowing that all of our friends and family were witnessing this special moment in our lives was truly indescribable.”
As for the couple’s favourite wedding detail, that’s one of their sweeter memories. “The cupcake display was absolutely beautiful, and a show-stopper for sure,” says Paige.
